Reality vs. Dreams

In the waking state, I observe one manifestation of reality, seemingly real because of its physical nature.  In the dreaming state, my point of awareness shifts to another level of existence that is just as real as the waking state.  When I am in the reality of my dreams, I do not entertain the idea that an alternate existence is present via the waking state because my point of focus has shifted.  Whether I am in the waking state or the dreaming state, the one constant in both states is my awareness.  My awareness, or my consciousness, moves between both realities.  The more I experience the dreaming state, the more I arrive at the realization that dreams are reality constructs.  In the dream experience, I notice that I may encounter repressed emotions that are represented symbolically by human or non-human entities.  My state of mind may also be represented by my dream environment.  Thus, confusion or disorientation are at times experienced as a severe thunderstorm, tornado, or tsunami.  In contrast, joy or happiness may be experienced as a clear, sunny day in an environment populated by palm trees and sandy beaches.  Essentially, I am projecting thoughts and emotions in the dream and experiencing them as reality.  I am reaching the point where the barrier between reality and dreams is breaking down.  The only distinction between the two states is that I have been conditioned to believe that one is real and the other is not.  But then what is real?  If real is defined as something that can be perceived by my five senses, then my dreams have to be real because I am perceiving them.  I see, experience, and interact with the dream environment, and I am affected by it.  I have a body in the dream just as I have a body in the waking state, but the density of my dream body varies depending on my level of awareness.  Thus I may be denser or heavier in some dreams, and lighter in others.  In the waking state, I also observed that my body tends to be lighter or heavier depending on my thoughts and emotions.  Negative thoughts and emotions tend to weigh me down or burden me, while positive thoughts and emotions make me feel lighter and more free.  It all depends on how I choose to process my experience.  Whether I am in the waking state or the dreaming state, if I am projecting thoughts and emotions into my environment and then experiencing them as reality, then there would be no need for me to be upset by my environment or circumstances because I have created them.  It would be better for me to just accept my reality as it is and make a conscious choice to change it in the present moment.

When a Father Neglects

Searching for answers
Wondering how to be a man
You gaze longingly at an empty chair
Rocking back and forth
Where your father should have been
How to develop high character?
How to be strong mentally?
How to exhibit spiritual fortitude?
Where is he?
Invisible physically
Or maybe he’s there but can’t see your pain
A deeper connection is never ingrained
Because the football game is on
The baseball game is on
The basketball game is on
No time to spend with his son
Maybe your father never had a father
To teach him how to be a man
Displaying a lack of presence
A perpetual cycle of absence
A barren heart
Yearning to be nourished by a father’s words
Of wisdom
Of encouragement, instilling confidence
But all you see are the menacing clouds
Of anger and disappointment
Rain falls from bloodshot eyes
Onto a desert of loneliness
In hopes of growing through the pain
How to respect women?
No father around
You look to “friends” for unguided guidance
On how to exploit and abuse Feminine Energy
A pack of surrogate father-less fathers
Provides comfort in your emasculation
A lack of direction
Equals a mind divided
Immersed in psychological violence
Ripping you apart
Hating your father for not being there
For a lack of care
For not making you aware
Of the repressed man
Turbulently raging inside
Distraught and all alone
A neglected boy reluctantly walks
The path of a man on his own

The Paradox

The paradox is that one is simultaneously Body and Spirit, the Form and the Formless, the Visible and the Invisible, Matter and Energy. This is the duality of experience. There is also a deeper connection between Matter and Energy. Energy animates Matter. Matter manifests from the realm of Invisible Energy. Energy literally births Matter, thus the Invisible (Energy) is a Feminine Principle and the Visible (Matter) is a Masculine Principle. They work together to create existence.

Intention

I plant my seed of intention in the universal grounds of infinite possibilities. I nurture my intent through focus and positive affirmation, and the radiance of my Third Eye provides nourishment. I watch my intent grow despite the weeds of fear and doubt attempting to strangle it. Against the odds, it evolves and becomes my experience.

Self-Hypnosis

The fire in his eyes
That burning desire of the Will to thrive
Expressing his greatest human potential
Dies, absorbed in artificial light
Absorbed in images detrimental
To his energy
I see a shell of what he used to be
I see a zombie
He talks only of what he sees on TV
His thoughts are not his own
He does not own himself
Dark Energies have taken over
Everything he thinks, says, and does is predictable
Predictive Programming
His eyes are glassy
Hypnotized by flickering light
He is dead inside
Dead inside

No Distractions, Only Peace

Since I have embarked on my inner journey, eliminating distractions has become necessary. There is no longer a need for me to watch the television, listen to the radio, or give my attention to any other diversions in the media. None of these external mechanisms have ever brought me peace. They have only served to perpetuate fear, violence, sex, and greed. I have never felt spiritually uplifted after engaging with these media sources. To the contrary, my energy was drained in interactions that were ultimately meaningless. When I gave my energy to television or mainstream music, although I may have been entertained temporarily, I was still left empty inside, as if I had wasted valuable time. To counteract these psychological attacks, I simply refused to give the media anymore of my energy. I realized that what you give your energy to expands, and by giving my energy to the media, I allowed their images and messages to expand into my reality. Once I let go of these external forms of entertainment, they disappeared from my existence.
I am now able to sit in silence and navigate the oceans of my Inner Self. There I find peace, and the calmness overcomes my being. I feel connected to all things in my environment, and I feel that we are all One. In this altered state of consciousness, there is no division based on race, gender, religion, political affiliation, or sexual orientation. I can see the humanity in every person, and I can also see the Spirit that permeates through their physical bodies. There is no need for judgment because we are all One Consciousness moving in the same direction, evolving to greater heights. We are aspects of one another, interconnected through Spirit, but manifesting our own independent realities. Our individual efforts towards creating lives of meaning will assist in elevating Collective Consciousness from the lower realm of fear, tension, and chaos to one of harmony and positive energy.

True Self vs. Social Identity

As I became more conscious of my existence, I became more aware of the underlying pain that was rising to the surface. The intensity of the feeling was almost too much to bear. I persisted in my efforts, but sometimes feeling your feelings is a difficult action to undertake. It requires spiritual fortitude and a willingness to endure the psychological storms of repressed emotions. The emotions are repressed to hide the True Self, and a Surrogate Self, or what some call a social identity, is substituted in its place. The Surrogate Self establishes the individual’s identity, an identity based on career, social status, educational background, salary, etc. These societal measures of success become the I AM for a human being. The I AM is triggered when one is asked the question, “What do you do (for a living)?” You then say, “I AM a doctor, lawyer, teacher, engineer, nurse, etc.” “What school did you go to?” “I went to Harvard, Yale, Duke, DePaul, UIC, etc.” The social mask of superficiality has been secured firmly over the face of authenticity. When operating in a social construct, it is not feasible for me to tell you that I am Spiritual Energy that is currently expressing itself as a human being. Although it feels right and feels like a more genuine answer, it does not fit within the construct of societal norms. It is the True Self masked behind a social identity. I prefer to peel off the layers to arrive at the essence of who you are.

All Paths Lead Back to the Self

I am on the journey back to myself, navigating my chosen path with a knowing that it will lead me to where I intended to go. I cannot see the end of the path, or my ultimate destination, but I trust in the spiritual energy that sustains and animates my existence. It has never guided me wrong because it has knowledge beyond the material realm and can see the broader scope of my travels. My energetic essence, my spirit, cannot lead me astray because it exists in a realm beyond duality, beyond the concepts of right and wrong. Thus, there are no right or wrong paths because every path leads back to the Self. It would be futile for one to criticize the path of another when they both share a common fate, which is continual evolution on a personal and spiritual level. It is a persistent fate because one is constantly becoming himself or herself with every passing moment. There is an innate desire for the human being to express a greater aspect of the Self, especially when one becomes aware of the power to create a meaningful existence, a reality of purpose. Thus, one will look for a path that is consistent with the stirrings of the Soul. Even if there are occasional regressions towards paths that are not the ultimate expression of an individual’s inner truth, it will still be an important path to take as one awakens to the conditions of his or her reality. The individual will then make the necessary changes by choosing a different path, a path that is a manifestation of one’s progression as a human being. This continual state of becoming, of making choices and walking higher paths, ensures that a person is able to creatively display greater realities while simultaneously aligning with the True Self.

Secondary Life

They walk upon the Earth
Self-executed since birth
Because they manifested into a system
That thrives on perpetuating the victim
Mentality, programmed into the young minds
Reality, found through school training and television
Visuals, psychologically modifying behaviors
Residual, robotic sentient beings who are highly suggestible
Compartmentalization of the mind is sensible
To an elite intelligence
Who fears a mass awakening
Secrecy is their preference
Illusion, pseudo-reality projected
Confusion, work, sleep, work, sleep
Cycle, 40-year sentence designed to
Stifle you, the human resource
From expressing your creative potential
Nostalgic memories breed remorse
The pain is existential
Stolen identity, because you wanted to belong
So ask yourself this, “What if your life was all wrong?”

Viral Infection

In silence
I channel spiritual guidance
Especially when there is no one to confide in
Quarantined from the world
I am a deadly virus
To societal structures
That perpetuate normalcy
Infecting minds with truth
To release inner divinity
I am not systemic
But I am pandemic
Reality is greater than material possessions
Used to enslave you from knowing destinies
Beyond the five senses
Multidimensional Awareness is your essence
The third dimension was not meant to be a life sentence
We expand our reality as consciousness evolves
Control systems perish when we access higher vibratory levels
Existing beyond the paradigm of limitation
And projected external idols
We creatively manifest internal images
Consistent with our desires and yearnings
Security becomes irrelevant when the soul is burning
Detonating supernova explosions of energetic expression
My virus is a psychological weapon
Aimed at the minds of humanity
Slaying your surrogate self
To summon immortal energy
